Our centre offers 4D ultrasound of the fetus at the request of a pregnant woman. It is a non-medical act and is performed by our nurses. It is only the computer image reconstruction, the ultrasound is not used to search for birth defects. The price of 4D ultrasound is CZK 1,800 and the pregnant woman receives a USB flash disc recording and photo of the fetus. The examination takes about half an hour, the display quality depends on the position of the fetus and the amount of amniotic fluid. Getting a 4D ultrasound in the case of singleton pregnancy is ideal between weeks 27 to 28 of pregnancy and in the case of twins, getting a 4D ultrasound is appropriate in week 26 of pregnancy.
